| I want historical data on all the wrecks involving persons 65 and over. I will bet that statistics will show younger drivers are still a higher risk than older.

| Well, if they want to do this, then how about mandatory retirement of DL's for drivers over a certain age. Or at the least, mandatory road testing. This guy also fails to look at the actual statistics related to driver fatigue or tiredness. If he did, he would know that car drivers have a much higher problem with this than truck drivers.

As Mark said, I know that they do this for airline pilots, there was actually a recent fuss about it because they wanted to raise the mandatory retirement age to 65 or something.
