ST. LUCIE COUNTY — An Arizona truck driver told sheriff’s deputies Monday that his semi truck and trailer apparently were stolen sometime over the weekend from a truck stop near Fort Pierce, according to a recently released report.
The 47-year-old man said he picked up a load in California and dropped it off in Boca Raton before arriving at the Flying J truck stop on Nov. 12. The victim said he didn’t have a load to return to Arizona with, and on Friday rented a vehicle and went to Miami for the weekend.
