CLEVELAND - A ban on trucks and buses on the Inner-Belt Bridge did not go as planned Wednesday.

Despite hundreds of signs, automatic warnings on C-B Radios, and a week's worth of publicity, upwards of 1,900 truck and bus drivers still used the bridge Wednesday morning.

ODOT engineers say with numbers that high, it was too dangerous to re-open a third lane of traffic, as planned. "We certainly don't want to see any numbers like we saw this morning," said O-DOT Spokesperson Jocelynn Clemings. More Here >>
