Driver Shot the driver of a 18-wheeler

Search continues for the person who shot the driver of a 18-wheeler

12/16/08
Shreveport Times, LA
Quote:
Police continue searching this morning for person who shot the driver of an 18-wheeler that was parked at a convenience store at Hollywood Avenue at St. Vincent Avenue just after 9 p.m. Monday.

The gunman fled, but police recovered the bullet that struck Bill Singleton, 54, of West Monroe, in the shoulder. Shreveport police Sgt. Tom Oster said it will be taken to the crime lab.
The Tango truck driver was watching TV in the cab of his rig when he heard a knock at his window, Oster said.

Singleton told police the man wanted to sell him drugs, but when he refused, the man attempted to rob him.

Who cares about legal when you want to live. Remember: When seconds count, the police are just minutes away!

Rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

HOWEVER! It is your responsibility, and your responsibility alone to make sure you know the laws, both state and federal. If you choose to carry in an area where you are not allowed, you must be prepared to face the consequences if you are caught.

Let's not turn this into another debate about carrying firearms in a truck. We have a thread for that.
