ABOARD THE OBAMA EXPRESS -- Roy Gross, a truck driver from Taylor, sat on the inaugural train in Philadelphia and still couldn't quite believe he was there.
The Taylor truck driver first met U.S. Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois at a forum at Macomb Community College last May when Obama was still just a presidential candidate.

But on this frigid Saturday morning, Gross and his girlfriend, Paula O’Rourke, were riding with the president-elect on a whistle stop train tour to Washington D.C.
“It just doesn’t seem real,” said Gross, 49, who is now a business agent for the Teamsters. “I keep thinking, 'How can it be us?’”
