While I do agree with you on many people I face and interact with on a daily basis, they're are some good people still here - just not enough of them to have a voice. We write to Senators and explain why we feel something won't work and are overlooked daily.

Just as in nationwide politics California has the "It's not what we can do for you; it's what we can get done for ourselves" attitude in power. We believe giving away other people's money to some healthy capable people that want to sit on their ##### rather than work is 'the right, kind, thing to do'.

Ok, back to the washer fluid topic

My GMC Dually holds upwards of a GALLON of washer fluid; HEAVEN FORBID I TRAVEL somewhere COLD.... California DOES get snow... Can we SUE CARB's ### when it freezes up on us and we have to drive for an emergency or other reason?
That's total ########!
Sorry.....those "good people" account for around .01% and I'm one of them. CA has gone past the point of "No Return".

Last year the county had program for people to turn-in their older 2 cycle weed-whackers for the "Greener" 4 cycle ones.
I'm sure a ban is in the works.

Even the Russians and Chinese haven't gone this far...

IIRC, a good percentage or Particulate pollution on the West Coast comes from China...They have most of our old refineries and steel mills over there running full bore.

Wood burning fireplaces are banned in most of the San Francisco Bay area.

Charcoal grills must use the matchless briquettes since starting fluid was banned in South Coast Basin around 10-15 years ago.

Nope...well, certain days you can, and certain days you can't...depends on the pollution level, etc, on each day.
Where I live, up in the desert, you can use gas grills, but the charcoal grills are regulated.
