Changes made to the plowing schedule and the county's stinginess about overtime costs is resulting in poor driving conditions throughout the county at various times of the day, according to plow truck drivers.
They say it's not their fault; that they take pride in their work and are doing the best they can with the resources they are given. But they also say the county should go back to the old scheduling system and should allow drivers to work around the clock during snowstorms, which reportedly isn't being done.
