Commercial Truck Driver Arrested for Driving While Drugged Commercial Truck Driver Arrested for Driving While Drugged 2/27/09 Quote: (North Platte, NE)- The driver of a semi trailer truck stopped at the Eastbound Weigh Station on Interstate 80 near North Platte, in Lincoln County, Nebraska, has been arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs. Shortly after 9:30 p.m., on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, the driver of a semi trailer truck was requested by the state's automated weigh in motion system to enter the Weigh Station. A trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol Carrier Enforcement Division observed the driver of the semi, 32-year-old Angela Brown, of Gadsden, Tennessee, stagger as she brought her required paperwork into the Weigh Station. Brown was also observed to have slurred speech. A Drug Recognition Evaluation (DRE) conducted on Brown indicated she was under the influence of drugs. At the time, she was found to have 5 different prescriptions for Central Nervous System (CSN) Depressants in her possession. All of the prescriptions were prescribed to Brown. Man did they get a break by pulling her around back! If she needs all those drugs to operate as a person I don't think she should be driving. Maybe I'm wrong but.... __________________ " If you ain't living on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

Most depressant drugs for the CNS are not allowed in the first place.
