| NY DOT 511 web site can also be seen at: 511NY.com. Many of the State 511 websites can now be accessed by typing the State Initial either before or after 511 + .com. i.e. Florida is FL511.com, VA is VA511.com, N.C. is NC511.com & etc. All 11 Western States can now be seen with this format. i.e. CA at CA511.com, NV at NV511.com & etc. |

| If New York's 511 information system is anything like Virginia's then I will be a happy camper when I get to driving in New York State. The Virginia system has helped me out of many a traffic pickle when calling them from my cell phone OR pre planning a trip when looking at their website a week or a few days before I go take said trip. |
