Westbound lanes of Interstate 40, as well as the westbound on- and off-ramps at Cosnino Road in Flagstaff, Ariz., will be closed beginning on on Tuesday, June 30, the Arizona Department of Transportation said. The closure is part of a project to reconstruct portions of westbound I-40 from milepost 205 to 209.

All interstate traffic will be routed onto the eastbound lanes, with one lane for each direction of travel. The closures are expected to be in place through October. Prior to June 30, drivers should plan for intermittent lane closures on both directions of I-40.
