| Ouch! And its all unnecessary. Nitrogen Oxide is 70% of the air we breath and to plants it is fertilizer that makes their leaves green. Soot falls to the ground. And trees breath Carbon Dioxide. This is almost like religious mass hysteria from the church of the EPA. You will pay your tribute to the Enivrogods. |

The soot that doesn't fall to the ground goes into your lungs. Bad stuff. Particulate matter regulation is good for us. NOx is an interesting matter altogether. It does lead to smog formation which also affects our lungs. So perhaps it's not so bad either. The CO2 issue has me definitely scratching my head. You're right in that CO2 is used by plants to grow and ultimately pump out oxygen. I have mixed views on whether the CO2 is actually contributing to man-made climate change. The way I look at is if technology advances...and it has...to a level where we can have more fuel efficient and cleaner engines, then why not. The key is in the way it is administered. I don't have the answers, but I certainly have some questions here.... |
