Western Pa. trucking operation laying off 52

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — A New Jersey-based trucking firm plans to lay off all 52 drivers at its western Pennsylvania facility by November.

The layoffs are planned at the Louis J. Kennedy Trucking Co. in Aliquippa, about 20 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. The company is based in Kearny, N.J.

Awww balls! Friend of mine drives for them! Guess he's gonna be looking for work soon. Anybody got any ideas? He's got YEARS of flatbed experience. I'll call his wife and get the full lowdown on his record.
