Coroner: Oregon trucker dies in Illinois of swine flu

MARYVILLE, Ill. — A coroner says a trucker from Oregon has died in southwestern Illinois of swine flu.

Madison County Coroner Steve Nonn says 45-year-old Derrick Keel of Beaverton, Ore., died Wednesday night at a Maryville hospital after driving himself there three days earlier complaining of fever, shortness of breath and a several-day cough.

I don`t understand how we can still have porous borders with this virus coming from mexico.Will our elected offocials wait till we have 1,000,000 dead before they get serious about illegals or is the hispanic vote more important?

Of course the hispanic vote is more important. Elected officials and their families don't get sick. That's just for us commoners to deal with.
