Trucker movie to be released in theaters Trucker movie to be released in theaters Quote: Monterey Media has acquired rights to James Mottern’s film Trucker, which will be released in theaters beginning October 9, opening exclusively in New York theaters before a nationwide release. The movie premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. Written and directed by Mottern, the movie tells the story of a female truck driver, Diane Ford, who turns her carefree life around after taking in her estranged 11-year-old son. “I tried to make ‘Trucker’ for a few years. … One problem I was always faced with was finding a lead actress that really spoke to me on a gut level,” Mottern said in a statement. “I looked for a long time.” more here>> Trucker movie to be released in theaters __________________
