Police Look for Drivers Over the Limit on Route 90 Bridge

Quote:
OCEAN CITY, Md.- Restrictions continue on Friday on the Route 90 Bridge in Ocean City after inspectors found corrosion on the underside of the bridge. Despite signs warning about the restrictions, some people don't seem to care.
However, Maryland State Police say they will be watching. Police are looking for drivers who are over the maximum weight limit of 6,000 pounds.
Right now, only passenger vehicles and small unloaded pick-up trucks are allowed on the bridge.
However, some people pushed the limit and drove over the bridge anyway.
One truck driver says, unloaded, his box truck weighs about 7,000 pounds and the max weight for it is just over 11,000 pounds.
