Edmonton trucker blew three times the legal limit

Quote:
EDMONTON —Edmonton police arrested a semi-truck driver last month for allegedly driving with a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit in the middle of the afternoon.
A concern citizen called police on Sept. 29 after he saw the semi-truck, which was pulling a trailer, driving erratically on Mayfield Road near 163rd Street. The semi was swerving all over the road, hitting guardrails and barely missing other cars. It continued on, plowing through construction barricades, before the driver was finally stopped east of Groat Road.
The driver gave two breath samples, which registered at 0.27 and 0.26.; the legal limit is 0.08
Rajpal Singh, 35, has been charged with impaired driving.
There have been 620 impaired driving charges laid in Edmonton this year through to the end of September.
