I-440 to close in Nashville WEEKEND TRAFFIC ALERT: Roadwork closes I-440 Quote: NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The eastbound lanes of Interstate 440, from Interstate 65 to Interstate 40, west of town, will again be closed this weekend as a major concrete rehabilitation project continues. The roadway will close at 8 p.m. Friday, August 28 and reopen no later than 5 a.m. Monday, August 31. Crews with the Tennessee Department of Transportation will saw out and remove damaged sections of concrete and pour new concrete, which must harden completely before the road can reopen to traffic. more here>> WEEKEND TRAFFIC ALERT: Roadwork closes I-440 __________________

This really wont cause a problem. If you are coming into Nashville from the west on I-40 and want to get to 65 South, just stay on 40.

The entire interstate system in the Nashville area needs to be gently disposed of and done completely over. And as for "concrete rehab"....I think a lot of the surface in that area needs MORE drugs, not less!
