Trucker found fatally shot in rig

Trucker found fatally shot in rig in Moreno Valley, CA
Quote:
A truck driver was found fatally shot in his rig while parked at a dirt lot in Moreno Valley, CA, early Wednesday morning, Nov. 4. Moreno Valley Police Sgt. Jamie Briones said the department still hasn’t released the name of the 56-year-old trucker who was shot “multiple times in the back.”

“Right now, we are treating this as a criminal homicide that occurred yesterday morning in the city of Moreno Valley,” Briones told Land Line Now.

The slain trucker drove for KLLM Transport, and he was parked in a dirt lot where Briones said that “periodically truckers do park their rigs for overnight stays.”

This truly sucks.
We just lost one of our own.

Be careful out there folks,it's really getting dangerous.

I can't say what happened in this case but try to keep some situational awareness in the back of your mind. Espescially when you're parked alone.

RIP to that driver who died taking care of his family. There is no greater honor.

Now I hope they catch whoever did this and hang them from a tall tree.

Hanging is too good for whoever did this.

Whoever did this took this driver's life.

Whoever did this made this man's wife a widow.

Whoever did this took away some child's Daddy.

Whoever did this took away some mother's son.

Hanging is too good for this animal.

oh man!such a shame!!, my thoughts are with his family!...
last year sometime, one of our drivers was walking into a rest area and held the door open for another driver, the other driver returned the favor when they reached the bathroom, and once inside the guy stabbed our driver a whole lot of times... he survived, but was in bad shape, during the day and others seen this happen including his wife... parking alone, or parking with others never let your guard down

Gee. It was a good thing he wasn't armed. Someone coulda gotten hurt!

(yeah, I'm seething and rolling my eyes at the same time, though if he was shot in the back, there's a pretty fair chance even being strapped wouldn't have helped)

If the perp is caught and is honestly found guilty, he oughta be turned loose in a closed area with the guy's family, as well as a few other drivers. The event could
be televised, with the proceeds going to the victim's family.

Sure, it'd likely do better as an idea for a novel rather than real life, but it's almost enjoyable to think about it... when it comes to scumbags like this.

Drivers you need to know the areas where you plan to park......

"Mo Valley" as it is known around here is akin to South Central or Compton........

That town is full of Meth Labs and the gang-bangers who left the streets of L.A. for the suburbs of the I.E.

I would suggest that we have a sticky tread about the safe and not so safe places to park...........

You know I really don't think it's about race. Murders go on everyday and its not just blacks or minorities. All races commit crimes daily, there are just as many caucasians commiting crimes as there are minorities.

Someone lost a love one and the only thing you can do is point fingers and call names. I feel sorry for you; the ignorant one using the N word. Hide behind your keyboard talking your ####, one day it will catch up with you.

Yes I too despise ignorant low life people that live to cause harm on a working man. Go get a job, its easy if they would just apply themselves. Whoever it was I hope they fry his #####, taking this mans life. I will be praying for his family.
