Dogs ain't wild animals. Now I heard of one lady who had a genuine mountain lion in the truck with her. She never had a problem with it or anyone else for that matter.

Exactly. Big difference in wild(feral) and domestic.

Domestication is "Learned Behavior",Instinct is "Genetic".

Canis (major/minor) are very much "wild"
    You can not train(domesticate) genetics

Would that logic not apply to humans as well? Isn't our civility(some of us anyway) learned behavior?

self defence is every ones right, although most politicians dont agree and they dont agree because there not in jeperdie they dont have to worry about dying every week, when will it stop? simple when everybody stops taking it, when the word get out that there going to get shot if they come in the truck it will stop , when they decide if there going to die if they try to take what is yours it will stop.

this is nothing to although it is tragic and we dont hear about all of them, i no personaly of one rest area in texas where seven have died and all were asleep when it happenned.
and they dont want me to carry a gun, just try me i dont care what they want your not taking what is mine and i never did like pain so if you get shot you ask for it .
that might sound cold well thats because it was meant to be .
if i get in my truck my peace maker is already there waiting for me permit or not , i dont care.

    luck to all . southernpride

good post my friend, to show you how current the truck driver stays the law you refer to was repealed in 1968 and your right there is no federal law pertaining to fire arms in a truck it is now up to each state and has been for some time now. take care .

I've a DEEP HATRED for communist Kaliphornia and Illinioz.

I love that inccident in Tenn about a year ago (maybe less)...Some POS punk with a long wrap sheet, tossed a rock thru the window of a semi, then tried to break in, and then whammo, driver shot the POS dead.

That puts a smile on my face everytime I think about it.

BTW, the driver who shot that POS was NOT charged with anything either.

I love seeing thieves and armed robbers get gunned down to their death (smiley face)

I am not sure I'd consider a dog a wild animal, unless there is a group of several dogs involved.

As for the mountain lion... thatsa big kitty.
