i rember two arrows, or the dixie,or how about stucky's and the famous pecan log, or how about clines corner , as there are so many out there, if you just get off the interstate , you would see them too

i rember the triple t, it was up there by souix city iowa weighed there a few times and anybody rember this stupid tv at the table , it never worked and sure took your quarter's and this what left of the truckstop , old 76 east of bossleman about 3 miles , it's is if going east, is go east 3 miles, look too the left, now a big Caterpillar dealer, this was all was left , till they moved in and took it down, i have so many truck stop's in Iowa, that don't even list them on the internet, such a shame, guess i'll go east too that side , because over there is a truck stop by the wall mart dc center, i rember stopping there, inside the place was a train track overhead that go all over the place up there on the ceiling, i wacth it for hours when i was there, on the outside of the building was a international grill off a cab over mounted too wall, it was a neet place and very good food, only place i couldn't finish my plate, i was stuffed and they made sure of that, i miss that place, been closed for years now.

The Triple T that I remember the most was in Tucson Az. All I know there used to be a lot of great truck stops. I sure wish I could remember all their names . to bad we didn't have digital cameras
50 yrs ago. O well I guess that is why we have memories..

but you know , i dont mean this a bad way, now were wishing we could rember truck stop's, but on the other foot is the people bashing truck stop's, ever stop too really think , it might be the truck driver , who dump there pee bottles and in general trashed the place and the owner's just got fed up and just closed it, instead of dealing with the hassle all the time, so you see nothen has really changed at all

Your right on. there. I know you can't back up. but then 30 -50 yrs ago their was only a 10th of the trucks on the road as their are today. Heck Jerry mackies truck syop 5 blocks from the Chicago stock yards only had room for maybe 15 trucks .if you had more than that you had to move to let someone out. The same for the old Evergreen truck stop in down town Seattle.Had a lot of fun back in them days...

there so many truck stop's out there it hard too tell if ever they were there, like in ind, on route 20 by the west of south bend there's a old truck stop, i rember passing it everyday, had the mark's of a old 76 , probly tore down by now and in Carisle, pa on route10 there was my fav truckstop, good eats and plenty parking as i went by one last time they were tearing it down, brought a tear too my eye , as like losing a old freind, then on west edge of pa, just as you get too exit 15 was a old truck stop , on the north side, the south side was the TA truck stop, they were closing that one too, i also sleep alot nights in that one ,but very bad for lot lizard's .there so many out there, many were closed , but the owner would let me park there anyway, i really got a kick out that one in ut, the parking lot was across the hyway, the backdrop was a cureved cliff of the wall of red rock, it was so neet too look at when the sun went down and change colors, then you walk across the hyway too the diner, great omelets there too

I sure don't remember the name of the truck stop at Carlisle PA but stop their a lot in the early 60"s I would run the PA Pike from Ohio to I believe 222 or 22 at Carlisle Than into NYC.I would not run anymore of the pa pike it cost to much.. I was delivering produce to the NY market. this was before hunts point. You went thru the Holland tunnel 2.00$ about 4 blocks turn right down to the market on the water front TW the toll for a truck to get into the city was $2.00 it didn't matter if it was the GW VN bridge or holland tunnel and that was the only tunnel that trucks could use. The last time i was in NYC with a truck 1969.There use to be a good size truck stop in Jersey City used to eat their in the Dinner. if i heard the name i would recognize it
