i'm seeing a rain slick road, and a pole. i'd "surmise" the officer was either chasing someone, or was on a "donut-run" and wrapped himself around a pole till it broke the cruiser in two pieces. if you look again at one of the photos, i think you will see the officer laying on the ground, but no "white sheet" over him................at least not at the time that photo was snapped..............

I don't think it is a body. Looks to small and I used to drive a wrecker. With all the people in the picture if it were a body people would be looking towards it, human nature. No one is looking in that direction not even the two standing near it. I would say that it is part of the car.

A Crown Vic, or a ball-point Bic?!

if the officer is dead, ain't too much to look at, and it looks like either a sleeve is ripped from the uniform, or his pants are torn off. why would 2 "officers" be standing at a car part..??

i'm sticking with its the officer's body (for now) till the original poster informs us furthur.......

I will still dispute. I might be wrong, but have worked my share of fatal crashes. Body is usually covered even if ambulance is not on scene. Cops won't let one of their own lay there for the onlookers to gawk at. Plus no one is looking at the body. People always look at bodies. People have a morbid sense or are curious.

it is a crown victoria, and i think its a photo from the soviet union (or some other foriegn country) , as the police cars were shipped there ( to the soviet union at least) some time ago to help the police in thier chases and such, over the underpowered soviet cars.........
