Figured it'd be nice to start a thread for cool pictures of the sky we see out on the road. Sun rises, sets, clouds etc.
Got these coming across 136 down by Fairbury, NE. There were a couple better ones I could've taken if I had time to stop.

Great idea for a thread. Here's a few I have to share:
Sunrise in LA, headed east on I-10 somewhere. You can see the low cloud bank that the sun is filtering through. More striking in person.
Sunrise in OK, moving toward DFW on US-69. 0500 starts usually suck less when I get to see this after I get going.
This is the backside of the F5 tornado that hit Moore, OK this summer. I was at the KW dealer in OKC contributing to their shop profit line when the storm came thru. Missed my location by a few miles to the south. A little windy and a smattering of golf ball sized hail being this far on the fringe of it.
Descending into some morning mist on I-99 northbound after the first climb from Bedford. Another one of those moments that made up a tiny bit for an 0-dark-thirty departure.
Climbing into some afternoon thunderstorm leftovers in TN. This is the last decent grade southbound on TN-111 right before it merges into US-27 going in to Chattanooga.Last edited: Sep 20, 2013
