Thank you for all the compliments everyone. I really enjoyed doing both trucks that I owned. I have since sold both of them but hope to one day get a Peterbilt 387 and do the same with it...

Yes that is a clutch pedal. This truck had the Generation 2 Eaton Fuller 10 speed autoshift transmission. Basically the clutch is used only to start or come to a complete stop. Put the trans in "D" Drive let out the clutch and you never have to shift it does it all for you once you let the clutch out. You never have to push on the clutch pedal again unless you make a complete stop. I have driven 9's 10's, 13, 18speed manuals and have to admit I love the autoshift. Freedomline and Meritor, Allison both make clutchless autoshift trans. Never used on of them except the Allison's on our Fire Trucks but would love to have one. Also with the Eaton Autoshift you can shift it manually if wanted by putting it in "Hold" then you can shift by hittting an up or down arrow on the handle by your thumb, no clutch needed just push arrow up or down and truck shifts. Flawless shifts every time. Would buy again if I was going OTR. Alot of the huge truck companies are going to automatics, US Express uses auto shifts only, CFI etc. Don't drive one unless you want to buy one cause once you try it you will be sold.

Truck had 900k on it when I bought it. That's why I got it for $19k. After it was all said and done I had about $30k into it when I sold it and sold it for $37k.
