I was on vacation a few years back and took some photos of an old volcano called Mount Jefferson, in Oregon. The surprise I found was after I got home and loaded the pics in my PC. I swear I have not altered the pics except to blow some of them up:
These pics are all of Mount Jefferson taken in a direction South East of the volcano. The white triangle on top is a natural feature. I thought some climbers had gotten up near the top which is about 10,000 feet in elevation and painted that rather large triangle. But the Forest Service, BLM and BIA claim that it is a natural feature. Quite remarkable either way.
