I just got another truck a couple of weeks ago. It came complete with 1 pre-bent fairing and a tweaked back rail. I'm beginning to wonder if this is how they come from the factory now days LOL.

Luckly, I've got a friend who can work wonders with fairings. 45 minutes and you're good to go. Now if I can just get a load going by his place.

I hate driving a truck with a bent fairing, especially if I didn't bend it

I cringe everytime I see a Swift truck!

I cringe everytime I see a Swift truck comming down the highway! I got a call from a Swift recruiter and told him I would rather have gum surgery with NO anesthetic then work for Swift! I was just on their website and it says they were awarded the "carrier of the year" by several companies including Quaker Oats, Wal-Mart, Fed-Ex, Target, and some others. I can think of many other trucking companies that deserve this award more!!

I tried to get a video of one the other night, while at a red light.

We were in the middle of nowhere, Alabama. He made a u-turn in the middle of main street, just past the light. Had the entire highway blocked...until his light turned green again. He was sitting at the light a full 90 degree on his trailer, blocking the main highway through town.

Hell I figured he had done screwed things up that bad, he might as well run the light and clear the road.

Hard call there. It would depend on whether you go by Safestat rating, or actual drivers. Some companies may have a poor safestat, while actually having excellent drivers.

There are so many variables that I could apply. No one company stands out. Although several do, for differant reasons.

Safe driver does not always equate to safe company.
