As luck has it, Swift would be involved.

Yes, I read the posts and I also noticed that you as a student was making the comment about the doors.

Not meaning to be mean or anything, just implying that other drivers will have similar thoughts when you are unlucky to pull a gem behind your truck.

You might also be unlucky to have a truck that has been dented or whatever by a previous driver.

Best of luck.
So, of course, we never assume that every Swift driver we see is a bad one, or make jokes about the quality of Swift drivers?

I don't think one has to have even 2 days of road experience to understand the issue. We all like to pick on the big companies. Swift, Microsoft, Walmart - whether they deserve it or not.

Nobody EVER points out that the Swift accident rate (percentage of reportable accidents per number of drivers) is not much different from just about any other carrier out there... Sure they have more accidents - they have more drivers.

As for The Storyteller - I *do* think it was a funny observation, as it does imply the lack of eye-hand coordination among drivers towing that particular trailer.

Im glad u made that comment about the drivers at Swift. very much appreciated....If they dont properly listen and learn the skill of driving and mainly SAFETY things like that accident can and will happen. I leave soon for my training and i am not letting things like that stop my dream in driving.

You could also look at it from this perspective..............

If the drivers at Swift really do have some skills issues...... and the management knows it...........then look how fast you will be able to rise to the top by keeping the truck on the road and in one piece!!!
