How so? Please explain.... The media may be riding the wave the workers are tired of being made fools of, IMO I think its ths right thing to do.
Now on the flipside of the coin if their pay goes up so do ours, Think about that one for a minute or two....

In other words.

If you're not happy with your current job you can change it.

There are way too many fingers in the pie for a strike to work. Who ya gonna strike against ? The shippers? The receivers ? The government, State, Local or National ? Or your company?

How many different languages do you speak? 'Cause ya gotta let all those folks know too.

As far as fast food workers striking. Another joke ! Where in all that is right or wrong did working at a fast food joint become a career ambition?

 

My point is being proven post after post. There are serious people who care about their livelyhood & those that are greedy sob's that havent been raked over the coals. If anyone is SERIOUS start tweeting how you feel on any trucking related issue with the hashtag #truckerstrike & follow me @devilman1222 & anyone else you see tweeting #truckerstrike & sooner or later you will find people close to you to get together & talk. #truckerstrike

I'll be watching the news for a story about a couple of drivers who decide to block a major traffic artery, get arrested, and the rest of us drivers wind up looking like idiots. Has it occured to you that with a lot of companies, any driver who pulls this crap would most likely be unceremoniously FIRED, and just replaced by some foreign, non-english speaking eastern European dimwit who would work for cheaper?? WAKE UP. The ONLY way any strike or protest to work is if AT LEAST 99% of ALL drivers in this country to participate. Is it that hard for you to get that through your thick skull? Wtf.:smt011

 

Yeah but at the same time you all are complaining about what others won't do. Just do your part and lets see what happens..driver I'm all for it lets make something happen. Get out and spread the word to other truckers where ever you see them at shippers or destinations or truckstops or rest area. Stop complaining and do your part...Take A Stand !!!!
