yeah, your right! #### em, keep signing people up! i have read about what you guys put up with at challenger, get em!

btw, its the same way in the USA, everyone will "talk the talk", but few people will actually "walk the walk". thats why its funny when someone gets that stupid "i don't need no stinkin union" attitude. they usually talk about how they can stand up for themselves, and not needing anything else. they are the same people that kiss the bosses ### every day. thats why they don't need it.

 

If we get lucky then some of us might get jobs at the truck stops and we can sell fuel and make Subway sandwiches for the Muslims and the Mexicans!

 

im all for this strike say the day and im there if we all united and shut down for even one day the america would completly stop and everyone would realize just how much they depend on drivers i know if we did there would definatly be a change and thats exactly what needs to happen these fuel prices are rediculous!!!!! i see no reason y we can pull this off we are all brothers in this we need to put our petty differences aside and unite as one.

 

How about we strike on June 7th, 8th, & 9th of this year?

I plan on going onto strike those days. How many are with me? We can really make a impact!

 

No can do on the 7th 8th and 9th, I am free 3rd 19th and the 29th.

 

72 hour DOT check is scheduled for the 7th, 8th, & 9th. & here I thought everyone would agree on those days to strike.

 

For awhile there REDD I thought you was picking your 3 days off, Till I read further........ 72 hr DOT's, Im ready for you's(kool vocabulary huh)

 

Prime example of why we are where we are today. When the Teamsters went on strike in the 70's we made big gains in working conditions,wages,benefits and rates,plus detention time enforcement. The ONLY times we have made big gains are when we went on strike.

 

yep, admiral, you are right. and don't anyone listen to that "collusion" bs either, as a LOT of the steelhaulers in the 70's were OWNER OPERATOR teamsters, and they went on strike TOO. they never got popped by the gov for "collusion". yet another lame excuse from people who are afraid.....
