I'm due for my annual. Might as well include an anal exam for my entire family. And a trip to Gitmo for me.Time for some folks to pull their heads out of their ### and face the reality of America 2012/2013. You are now a card carrying member of the "Home Grown" terrorist society.

Hope you have a safe place to hide the wife and kids.... A truck strike is considered a "National Security" issue.

 

If this is for next year 90% of the whiners reading this thread that would be interested will no longer be driving .
How do you expect to change regulations ? Do you have a few million dollars to match the political contributions of organizations demanding those changes ?

 

The same thing every year, nothing will happen. Usually 1 or 2 people will have a "mini-strike", do something stupid like try to block a road, and wind up in jail, totally pointless.

And what did you accomplish other than loss of income while you were parked ? I bet you really look up to Teamsters that go on strike a month or more so they can make concessions and go back with less pay and benefits .

 

Yet you show no such "balls" for making a difference in other areas. Areas that really matter.

 

I promise I will join in on the strike. So long as I am either at home, for days off, out of trucking completely, OR there is just no freight so I am being paid layover.
