No. I know there'd be at least a couple truckers who showed up. I would expect to see Bigfoot before any of these mass widespread strikes ever see the light of day, however.

Well I kinda meant like 100 truck drivers all coordinating a road block in strategic parts of the country all at the same time. 10 trucks each in the 10 biggest freight cities, each truck blocking a strategic part of the highway. Like take Indy for example. Block I69 at exit 5 NB and SB, then block 70 East and West bound, just east of 465, block I 65/70 in the middle of the city, block 65SB just south of the loop, and then a couple more blocking part of the loop somewhere else.

It would have to be pretty coordinated, and planned out. And no one would have to chicken out. And they would all have to accept the fact that there would be legal consequences.

let the Government and these Truck mills keep screwing over Truckers with BS laws and cheap wages either someone is going to walk in an kill an entire trucking company staff or Drivers will just get fed up with taking it up the rear and do something.

All the gov't would have to do is arrest the 10-100 drivers and slap big fines on them and every other driver would have their tails between their legs, never to hear complaints again. If it went further it would be like the Air Traffic Control strike in 1981 with mass firings. You would make the gov't mad instead of sympathetic. A bunch would lose their CDL as the National Guard moves in. The rest will be given the ultimatum to return to work or have their CDL downgraded. Companies can recoup new hires within a couple months.

The biggest Chatter is all about the CSA and HOS. Good Drivers are getting shafted on BS petty things and getting hit with CSA points. HOS is just a Cluster and we all know that.

And I can agree. I still don't see it happening, though.
Look at how badly some of these major carriers screw over their drivers, yet rarely - if ever - get the thumbscrews put on them for it. If that can fly without retaliation, you can understand where my skepticism is coming from.
I agree that drivers have a reason - no, a multitude of reasons - to be pissed off. From the local grocery hauler to the road hand. Problem is, the cohesion doesn't exist, and there are whole crops of drivers who have been placated into the BOHICA mentality, and will keep on keeping on, no matter what.

Well first there should be nothing that is deemed illegal, blocking traffic would be just their justification in arresting/ticketing you. I merely suggested a shutdown, a walk on DC and a rally to covey thoughts of displeasure. As for losing CDL's and/or downgrading them, that is illegal, they do not have a lawful right to do such action merely because people forgo driving. I would stand behind any strike but it should be done in a lawful manner and would still be quite effective.
