So after you get everyone to stand with you,...and after you get a raise for the whole country full of truckers,...and after you milk the carriers and trucking companies that already make less profit than non-trucking buisness their same size, squeesing them even harder, and you do get that money,...

How are you now going to explain to your precious family, when they ask why the price of bread has jumped (exaggerating a bit to make a point) to $15.00 a loaf,...Milk is now $23.00 a galloon,...And gas is $34.50 a gallon, because we have to give the truckers hauling gas a raise as well, to be fair now,..that your pay is more important than the cost of everything they buy, simply because the industry hasn't seen a pay raise in 25 years.

I think the time and energy put forth toward your your cry for more money by stomping your feet and demanding it be given to you should be better spend educating yourself on how to increase your pay yourself by advancing your career like most do out here that want higher pay. Instaead of just complaining about it, get off your bumm, start doing some research on how to make more money for yourself, then, actually act uppon that research, putting you in a better position financially.

Basic human and animal nature, since infancy, is that it is easier to cry, whine and complain to get something, rather than to learn to go get it yourself. If ever in doubt of this, just watch a young bird in a parking-lot that has just learned to fly, next to 'mama and papa' bird, at their behaior. Even though they are old enough to eat and fend for themselves, they will begg and begg for food, rather than pick up that worm they are standing right next to.

I agree with the pay. I'm making the same amount of money per year that I was making in 1998! Wouldn't be so bad if prices were still the same as 1998.
