If he gets in an accident, is he charged twice?

we saw what happened to wall street when the computers went down a couple months ago. what happens when these computers go down? there will be mass destruction and peple will be killed. technology is bad. just a bunch of idiot liberals sitting around a table trying to figure out how to put more hard working americans out of a job. I hope one of these "automated- self driving tucks" has a glitch when its driving next to one of these idiot sons a #######. Over and out.

I don't know why this attracted me for my first post, but........

    Lots of mixed feelings:

More unemployment, which will bring on (because of all the cuts the Government has done for the less fortunate):

    More homelessness.

    More crime.

An economy that will sink lower because of more people not spending because of higher unemployment.

That's just to name a few things.

As for automated vehicles on the roads: I sure would not want to be on the roads when this happens. Yeah, we have automated aircraft, but the skies are far more vast than the roads are, and there is also far less aircraft than land vehicles.

Of course company owners would love this. In some ways (I am sorry to say) some drivers bring that on themselves (the attitudes company CEO's and owners have about drivers and the desire to not deal with them). But when the economy completely collapses because of jobs lost, what will be the point of automated trucks?

This may not happen in the lifetime of anyone here, but if it does happen, it will happen because of the stupidity and greed of a few who will eventually pay for it in the long run.

I knew someone would find the prototypes or experimental toys out there.

It will never se widespread use comparable to the car. People are JUST TOO STUPID to be allowed to use some thing like that safely.

(Have you seen the generation of kids in school these days? I wouldn't trust them with a skateboard, let alone a jet-pack!!!!)

I watched some heading to school today and they totally amazed me. They are on phones, texting and all. I really wonder about the future anymore.

I am attending a local community college, working on a degree in Polysomnography (LOOK IT UP!)

I wish more people could see what I see! Talk about no hope for the next generation of government, teachers, law enforcement, or medical professionals!!!
