This type of talk has came and went on this site since before I've been here, and not once has it ever amounted to a hill of beans.

About all we can do is log out of the elogs and not do paper, in protest. If everyone did it that may get someones attention. Otherwise it is just all hot air.

It's always been hot air, and always will be. How about that day recently on the Washington Beltway? That was supposed to pretty much grind the entire area to a halt. The number of trucks that actually appeared was far below what was expected.

I'm of the opinion if all of those on eLogs who came out of sleeper or off-duty EVERY time they had to move the truck or do something otherwise work related, and moved to On Duty as they technically should (and negated the break time accrued), we could bring transportation of goods to it's knees. This is all that needs to be done. This would especially be an issues at food shippers and receivers who all work 24/7, messing with eLog clocks of drivers, individually.

Think of all the missed pre-plans and appointments. Let a carrier fire drivers for logging by the book and according to the letter of the law and see where that gets them.

    Evan Lockridge said it best.....

"You can't get two truckers to agree on the price of a free cup of coffee..."

    So a "Strike"?.....I doubt it....
