I certainly think so!! For years I think they have lied to us about what the world actually has for oil reserves. They constantly use these "were going to run out of oil" scare tactics, thus justifying the cost going up and up.
From what I have read on the internet, the world has almost 1000 years of oil from existing proven reserves. This does not include recent new discoveries of oil reserves that have been said to be in the trillions of barrels, and recoverable.
Oil greed goes well back to the late 1800's and early 1900's. There greed existed then and now has become a refined practice.

The oil companies are reaping the rewards of us being screwed, but they are not the only ones doing the screwing. Try the world bank! They set the price of a barrel of oil, not the oil companies.
