Truckers' Trucking Forum/Message Board - The Premiere Truck Driver Forum

Truckers Strike Forum We all hear of a trucker strike. Let's put all the trucker strike threads in here, please so they will more organized. What do YOU think of a trucker strike due to outrageous fuel prices? The April 1st strike fizzled as expected. $5/gal. or more MAY make truckers stand together...if even then.

It's not the oil companies, people. It's Congress.

Lightbulb Pressure on Saudis?!

Pressure of the Saudis? What a joke..if you want to pressure them, use withdrawing America's military support shud they ever need it! They have our protective cover now, like so many other nations who are 'our friends;' but the Saudis keep saying that they are running out of oil---only about 7-10 yrs left. So why pump it all out now at $60-90/bbl, when they can restrict their production to last longer at $150/bbl!

Not going to happen, wake up my friend and realize many of us are OKAY.

Until you guys/girls who make up a strike every 5 minutes decide to get serious and answer my above questions then there will be no serious postive thread about it.

I don't take the strikes serious because are so many different ones, do you think the goverment and public do?

For one a strike might be possible for a owner operator, or a co with unions. But for us who are not protected by a union or work for a co that is not possible, without loosing our jobs which I won't do for the sake of my wife and kids..
