"My trucking Co & thousands of others will no longer accept any loads at ANY price until such time as our FED Gov admits & puts into action a plan that will give all O/Os some help.

Here is what I would like to see happen,

1# suspend ALL Fed & State fuel taxes until such time that this economy is back on its feet,

2# Fed create a FED Oversight Committee to oversee Ins Premiums Charged for Class 8 trucks Insurance,

Ah yes. Our good friend Dan Little. Advocate for governmental crutches for the perpetually failed. Hmm. Kinda like welfare, huh?

As I drove to work this am on the freeway, most drivers were driving 70 mph as I stayed at my 60 mph pace. As people are becoming adjusted to $3.99/gallon and $4.69 for diesel, it seems they have settled back into some level of comfort. It is very unfortunate that folks cannot stand together, even if for a short time, to make a loud statement to our government! Perhaps it's not a big deal and everyone is ok with the prices. After all, we hear that gas in Europe is $8/gallon - that must make them all feel better. Forget the fact that we are the United States of America and in no way should be paying these prices!!!
