Important Truckers Forum Notice!

Truckers Strike Forum We all hear of a trucker strike. Let's put all the trucker strike threads in here, please so they will more organized. What do YOU think of a trucker strike due to outrageous fuel prices? The April 1st strike fizzled as expected. $5/gal. or more MAY make truckers stand together...if even then.

In recent months, truckers in Chehalis, WA, have staged two fuel protest rallies in hopes of gaining media and lawmakers’ attention about the dire situation they are facing as they continue to be squeezed by soaring fuel prices. It seems their efforts are paying off.
In April, OOIDA members Sherrie and Bob Bond of Chehalis, WA, met with U.S. Rep. Brian Baird, D-WA, about how high fuel costs are affecting truckers’ livelihoods. In response to that meeting, Baird’s office announced this week that he will be hosting a community forum to discuss the impact of high fuel costs on truckers in Washington state.

They might as well be talking to their dogs, they need to stop hauling cheap freight. Get smart or get out!
