Truckers' Trucking Forum/Message Board - The Premiere Truck Driver Forum

Truckers Strike Forum We all hear of a trucker strike. Let's put all the trucker strike threads in here, please so they will more organized. What do YOU think of a trucker strike due to outrageous fuel prices? The April 1st strike fizzled as expected. $5/gal. or more MAY make truckers stand together...if even then.

I don't know of anyone that can park a truck for long. How much is that parked truck making you and costing you?

What did you parking your truck accomplish? You losing money. I agree that if everyone would have park their trucks we might have got some things accomplished but alot of drivers out here can't even pic up a cb microphone and have a conversation with another driver because nobody can get along and agree over pidly subjects. Do you really think we'll ever be able to get the drivers out here to stick together and stand up for ourselves? I don't. Sad but true.

Ive said it once ill say it again, company drivers cannot park a truck for a strike unless the whole fleet does it or its a company thing to strike,, no big company is going to allow this let alone a small company that needs the money to keep the doors open in this economy.. if you can do it fine go for it more power to you, for the drivers that cannot cause they are company drivers, or even owner ops that need the money to survive, keep em rolling..
