... A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHWESTERN YUMA COUNTY UNTIL 830 PM MDT...
AT 753 PM MDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THESE DANGEROUS STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 7 MILES SOUTHWEST OF YUMA TO COPE... AND WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.
LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... ABARR... YUMA... JOES AND HEARTSTRONG.Last edited: May 18, 2011

How come you didn't announce the severe weather alert for Red Bluff and Tahama County.....oh it ended at 1730....but still...it was there and got that nasty noise on the radio...right in the middle of a great oldie set of music!

I swear that weather patterns are changing. I grew up on the Colorado plains. Once I remember hearing of a (1) tornado out around Burlington. I don't remember ever hearing of any others until just a few years ago.
I think "Tornado Alley" has been expanded!GuysLady Thanks this. -
That didn't stop that bugger from scaring a whole bunch of weathermen (and ladies)....LOL -
