Drivers heading to Seattle tonight may want to cool their heels for the night. I-90 westbound has been closed since earlier this evening and they will keep it closed at least till the morning sometime. Several slides have occurred forcing the shutdown of the pass. Right now both sides are closed but the eastbound side will be opening later tonight with chains required on all vehicles. The slides have occurred around North Bend, MM 34, the exit for the TA. The first westbound closure is at the 109, Ellensburg and the next westbound closure is at the 81, Cle Elum. Be safe if traveling the PNW tonight, lots of snow from Montana into western Washington.
3/3/14 Snoqualmie Pass shutdown.
