The national weather service in huntsville has issued ## tornado warning for... Western colbert county in northwest alabama... Northwestern franklin county in northwest alabama...* until 400 pm cdt* at 308 pm cdt...doppler radar and storm spotters were tracking a large and extremely dangerous tornado near sandy springs...or 11 miles north of fulton. Doppler radar showed this tornado moving northeast at 50 mph.* locations impacted include... Russellville...red bay...cherokee...malone...crooked oak...srygley church...dempsey...red rock...mt hester and pogo.precautionary/preparedness actions...to repeat...a large...extremely dangerous and potentially deadlytornado is on the ground. Take immediate action to protect your life.take cover now. Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowestfloor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If in a mobile home oroutdoors...move to the closest substantial shelter and protectyourself from flying debris.
