I 80, Minooka Area Detour June 5, 6.

MINOOKA ROAD PROJECT AT I-80…IDOT announces a detour to allow the removal of the Minooka Road Bridge, which is approx. 2 miles west of exit 122, on I-80. It is anticipated the detours will be in place for two (2) nights; June 5 and 6 (weather permitting). The detour is expected beginning at 6pm each night. ALL through traffic will be detoured off of I-80 from 8pm and 4am each night.
The detour routes are as follows:
I-80 WESTBOUND…All traffic will exit at the Minooka Interchange (exit 122), travel north on Ridge Road to U.S. 52, then west on U.S. 52 to IL47, then south on IL47 to I-80 (WB) at Morris.
I-80 EASTBOUND…All traffic will exit at the Brisbon Road Interchange (exit 116), travel south to U.S. Route 6, then east on U.S. Route 6 to I-55, then north on I-55 to I-80 (EB).
Motorists are encouraged to use extreme caution when traveling along the detour and are advised to be alert for flaggers and all other workers
