if your heading SOUTHBOUND ON 15. company news is moapa got washed out with the recent rains they've received. signs were displaying nevada flooding, no routes open. last night in utah.

so plan for out of route miles. at least 80 if your detouring through cedar city, ut. with the hills and what not. that adds at least 2 hours to your drive. or check for other routes.

according to the boss. even arizona is shut down.

Yeah, I guess it is a hell of a mess down there. The gorge is partially washed out and I guess most of the road down by Moapa is just gone. Other story here. And here.

I've never been unlucky enough to have to run between Snowville and Wells. Just looking at the map, it looks like an UGLY route. But really, I don't see what is to hate about the Cedar City to US 93 road. Yeah, it isn't fast, but at least it isn't UGLY!

Where you headed to LA from?

Westbound on I-40 in cali, I thought of riding it so I went in and never came back out.. (sorry couldn't help lol)
I went in thinking it wasnt as bad as it looked, but half way through I pulled over for a bit on mm 78.. and as soon as it lighted up a bit, I got back to warp speed (58) and hauled it.

all i gots to say, is avoid las vegas completely. apparently 30 miles of 15 is washed away. and northbound traffic was complaining of 6 hours to get from the freeway THROUGH the right hand turn on the 93. 143 miles up.

incident management said they are building a temp road which should be done by end of week. but he don't know if trucks will be allowed on it. since it goes through a national park.
120 miles from the freeway. and a coolant hose blows.
