Winter Weather Forecasts 2014

It's about time again to post my preferred forecast snow/ice potential web site for the US and southern Canada. Gives a pretty good overview of potential accumulation areas, going out 1, 2, and 3 days. Note there is an area further down the page that deals primarily with freezing rain potential. Bookmark this site and refer to it before heading across the nation to determine if maybe you need to alter your route if practical.

The zulu times noted are a standard fixed time that is always valid, wherever you are. To get local times (no winter daylight saving) deduct ..
Eastern -5
Central -6
Mountain -7
Pacific -8

But in reality you don't need to be too concerned with actual "times"
