    We're extremely lucky that it's so darn cold for this storm, as it's keeping the snow pretty light and fluffy. If it was warmer, just imagine how many power lines would be coming down because of the heavy wet snow... this crap is just blowing all over and will settle down in a day or say when these heavy winds stop. This kind of wind might be normal for places like Montana, but level is pretty rare for the northeast.

    Looks like business as usual over in NJ. Media hype, this was hardly a state of emergency kind of storm.

    truth be told, they are supposed to err on the side of caution

    because if they had said it was going to be a mild storm and we got 36inches and people were stranded for days, we would be rather upset at them
