Might consider dipping south to I-10 if you're heading to or pulling out of SoCal and need to pass through New Mexico around Thursday 1/29/15. Some areas around Albuquerque, Moriarty, and Santa Rosa forecasted to possibly exceed 8 inches and I-40 & I-25 may be a real issue according to early forecasts.

But, long range forecasts are subject to change as we all know. 8 inches can close roads in New Mexico temporarily so keep abreast of what's going on as you get closer and before you pass your potential deviation point.

Had my calendar mixed up ... January 30 it begins

Raton may be problematic as well as over Cuba into Farmington. I-40 is hard to say what sort of impact this system will have from one end to the other.

Looks to be a bad Friday to be in NM! I was kind of bummed being in Yuma and having to wait until tomorrow to load because I turned down a load from AZ to Denver but now I feel better since it's 70 here and I get to run 8/10 back home.
