Boy oh boy, I have driven US30 many a time, and sometimes thsoe traffic lights can suprise you, but not as much as the cars that slow down and stop for no apparent reason. And then of course, you get into a town like warsaw that will write you a ticket for even THINKING about grabbing the hammerlane. More reason to pay attention and keep your head on a swivel...

yeah, maybe with IN fleecing the toll road, they will finally fix us30. Of course, I have heard just the opposite, that companies that lease toll roads, put clauses in the contract that keeps the state from upgrading 'competitive' roads, so they (private cos) make the money they want. I am mostly upset that the Crazy D's in plymouth is now a Peelot, I used to stop there for breakfast all the time, good food and very reasonable.

That particular light in Plymouth is extremely long on the King road intersection, and extremely short on the US 30 part. I travel that route several times a week, and I hate that light more than all the lights on that highway combined. I have learned to time it, so as soon as I can see the light almost a mile and a half away, I am gauging my speed to make the light, but it is always an accident waiting to happen. Why you have a major highway crossing a piddly little street, and the light is green over twice as long for the cross street, I have never understood. I hate that light, I hate it, I hate it!!!!

Is King street right opposite the wally world? 'Cause I have delv'd back there, at ready-pac ( a load of romaine lettuce out of salinas, in my team reefer days) My personal peeve is how all those US30 lights seem to sense when you're getting close and that's when they change. I am trying to remember, there is one light, either east of Valpo or near Columbia City, that #%#$& would get me every time, I'd just get up to cruising speed and the stupid thing would change.
