Truck driver freed from vehicle after crash with semi

6/12/07
Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, IN
Quote:
Fort Wayne firefighters early today rescued a truck driver trapped in his vehicle after colliding with a parked semi.

The driver, who was not identified, collided with the semi in the parking lot of Triple Crown, 2536 E. Wayne Trace, about 6:25 a.m., the fire department said in a statement.

It took 30 minutes using the Jaws of Life to remove the crushed vehicle from around the driver so he could be further treated, it said.

The driver was taken to a local hospital in fair condition.

He must have been cooking across the rail yard, or something. They had to use the jaws of life, he must have been cooking across there.
