I-70 reopens near Genesee after deadly truck crash

Quote:
GENESEE, Colo. (AP) - All lanes of Interstate 70 are back open this morning near Genesee (JEN'-uh-see) after a semi-truck crash that killed one person.
The accident happened about 6:30 last night near the Lookout Mountain exit along eastbound I-70, when a truck driver hauling a drilling mud material lost control of the semi.
Colorado State Patrol Trooper Ryan Sullivan says the truck simply went out of control, and the driver -- unable to stop -- ended up rolling the entire rig.
The driver was killed. His name has NOT been released.
Truck driver Chris Cowan says he thinks the truck "flew" by him right before the crash, and says he could tell the driver was in trouble.
Westbound lanes of I-70 reopened about two hours after the crash, but eastbound lanes remained closed all night -- and reopened early this morning.
