Sikh driver killed after his truck rams into brother's truck

Quote:
ALBUQUERQUE: A Sikh driver of a semi-truck was killed about 15 miles west of Albuquerque when his vehicle rear-ended another semi-truck in front, being driven by his brother. Identified as Mandeep Singh Aujla of Fresno, California, the victim seemed to have fallen asleep, leading to the accident.
The crash happened on Interstate 40 west of Albuquerque, near the 141 mile marker near the Route 66 Casino.
The fruit-hauling trailing semi, which was at a high speed, struck the tractor-trailer in front so hard that the bumper made it to the first trailer's rear axle,, and then burst into flames which also spread to the vehicle in front. Gurdeep Singh Aujla, 30, the driver of the front truck, and his passenger Jagmohan Singh, only had minor injuries. Mandeep Singh Aujla, the driver of the second truck, died on the scene.
